I've just learnt he word "postponing" from Betty yesterday, I use it everywhere now hahaha!

Soooo! Let's try to build something a bit more real ok? As Betty said, this project is my baby, but I'm not ready to be a mom alone! Smile So I really need your help, your ideas, your skills! More brains to think this up! \o/

My plan for now is to try to pass the driver licence, once again, and get a van from Germany if possible. If not maybe just a car from anywhere...but so we can have a fucking big mama librairy, carry paintings and arts, musical instruments, and maybe PEOPLE, yeeeaaah! \o/
I wanted eventually to pass it in the USA, but it's such a mess to get the visa, fuck it!

So my idea, which is inspired from Clara and I-can't-remind-who-who-spoke-about-Portugal:

starting in Spring, from south of Portugal! Smile There are a few hippie communities, a few occupied beaches and caves.

Then we could go through Andalousia which I know like the bottom of my backpack (so pretty good but always with some new surprises still to be discovered)! With also hippie communes, occupied beaches, nice towns (Granada my looove <3), wildish hot springs etc... <3 And easy cops!

Then following the coast, we can stop in few beautifull natural spots till we arrive in south of France. Here are a lot of self-directed-neoanarchian-agriculturian-alternative-domains and cool spots!

Then it should be summer, so we are free to go to the amazing Switzerland with its crazy astonishing mountains lakes and rivers, and make a crazy amount of money to save for the Balkans (cause it's too bad to ask for money in countries where they lack it so bad). We could at this point of the travel start to have a good base to fundraise (cause before having pictures, videos and real people going with us it's not really possible!).

In the Summer it would be maybe better to get from one place to the other quicker than usual, in order to get the project more known (more advertisement, more money, more possibilities for the winter: Africa, Asia etc...?). We can cross the whole Europe to be in Romania in september. There we can get good musical instrument and nice costumes from the last centuary for very cheap! So if we made a lot of money doing shows in the summer we can invest in more material! Smile

Then going south along the Black Sea, to be in Greece for the winter. We can there bring some joy to the people either Greeks or Syrians, playing music and doing shows, giving some workshops etc...

Then depending on our money, materials, people and the weather etc we could go back to western Europe through the balkanic coasts (Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and the beautiful Slovenia <3) during the Spring. Or if the winter's too cold we could take a ferry to Malta or Chypre or Africa or decide to get till Asia crossing the Black and Caspian seas!

What do you think about it?

If we go during spring, then when exactly?

I've thought also about making it not for free anymore. If people pay to save their seats, maybe they'll get involved for real, if not well at least they won't have made us loose our time for nothing! I don't want this project to be reserved for people with money but it could allow us to have a more reliable bunch of people and to invest in materials (cause it would be a shame if for example Betty had to pay and bring paints and paper for 15 people or if we miss drums and guitars to learn to play!!).

I've also thought about taking a real leader role, cause when you do all the work you need "power". :/ I don't want to be a leader so I guess I could be a good one according to Frank Herbert (Dunes <3 my favorite books of all time!).

What do you think ?

Another thing is how to know if people still want to be part, when no one sends a mail to tell they changed their mind?
I thought this could be another condition to join: to use at least one hour of your time a month to check the forum and answer EVERY SINGLE FUCKING QUESTION that has been asked, even with a simple "I personaly don't give a fuck about this, do as you please" or a "who cares??" or a "I don't think my opinion worths anything as I don't have any knowledge about this topic": these are already very useful informations to go on!
What do you think?

I think starting in Portugal would be a great idea.
Easy climate, cheap living and food, friendly people and legislation and so on. In the south of Spain we would find similar conditions.

We could save and invest some money as a group to buy stuff to meet our basic needs.

I think it would be important for us to have another mean of communication, like skype or fbook, so we can actually chat and make decisions in real time.

Yes Portugal! <3

Money question is also about commitment so it's a question I'm exploring right now after our fisrt failure to start. I thought about these:
Before the starting date is set the "subscription" (=we save your seat) is on donation, we build the project all together, decide of how to use this money etc...
After, the price will increase with the time, so the quicker people take decision the less money they'll give, it allows us to maybe be able to plan more stuff (knowing which knowledges we'll share for example!). For the refund, so if people want to cancel, we'll taxe a pourcent depending on how much time is left from the starting (so they don't forget to tell us that they changed their minds!!! >_< grrr! And so we have a compensation the energy they made the project loose saving their seat for nothing...)

You're right about this other mean of communication. Betty and I are on facebook so let's use this tool!
